Web Site Contents
Introduction
Most free software projects now their own web pages, some even
have an entire domain (e.g. www.gimp.org).
Not only is it trendy to have your own site, it's useful to your users.

Other Suggestions
If you only have temporary web space, but intend the project to be more
long lived, you might consider having getting a redirection from a
permanent location. This will provide a permanent address for your
project. Monolith Internet Services will provide this service at no
charge - see www.ml.org.
